Collaboration

I am fascinated by hands. They hold stories, secrets, entire life histories. This project was born out of a desire to unveil, for a moment, some of that history. The models brought items in that represent something that has shaped their life significantly in some way.

Pink and blue chalk from “The Universal Language,” which is the play that inspired Kasey to do theater. It is a story of understanding, of breaking down barriers, taking two dissimilar people and bringing them together in a way that changes them forever. And that is what it did for Kasey.
